Money as a prison is interesting because it’s an inverted cell where you are not enclosed but actually surrounded by infinite possibilities.

In an age of unprecedented moral visibility, we suffer from moral vertigo. It's easy to retreat in to blame but building moral courage is vital to take us from outrage to personal responsibility.

Discerning disciples and all Homo sapiens: We are emergent objects, riding the crest of a wave, looking out across the sea of objects that assembled us. Enjoy the view while it lasts.

Your ability to question, to let beings be, is not a power. It is a gift, a task, and a danger. Use it wisely.

The factory and the store are the modern day temples where we summon new cosmic entities in to existence. The Greeks had many gods, but none as powerful as Apple or Starbucks. Ours don't just demand worship, they redesign our desires.

Žižek should make a new movie, this time call it: The Pervert’s Guide to Mass Surveillance. Gotta get a bit of Fritz in there: A little girl asks her mother, “Is God everywhere?” “Yes, of course.” “Even in the bathroom?” The mother blushes. “That would be indecent.” ~ Nietzsche, Nachlass (unpublished notebooks)

You can't unpublish work that you publish. Think carefully about the editorial process. By the time you pressed the key on your network connected keyboard it's already published. It is published on to a network of computers owned by a small number of silicon valley companies.

When you get in to crypto it’s hard to process the corruption day after day. It’s tough to sit with the tension. It’s easy to become a journalist, a whistleblower and keep that finger of blame pointed away from the self; the one that’s in so much pain.

Unclear what we “should” do at this point. We all live in moral ignorance. It's not even clear to me that the "good" and the "should" is anything more than another spin-doctored story humans tell themselves so that they can avoid being witnesses to the horrors of what nature can play out when it instrumentalise humans to enact its unrestrained power.

This is war. Do you have the courage to fight for your tribe, your people, your land? Do you have the moral courage to transcend tribal instincts and choose a harder path?
