The idea that “humanity is separate from nature” is better read as an ongoing civil war inside nature itself. We should admit that ideas, techniques, and institutions are themselves ecological forces. Nature vs. nature plus ideas, a feedback system where symbolic forms steer matter.

Politics can be understood as an evolutionary adaptation: a behavioral strategy that leverages rhetoric and self-deception to secure resources under the guise of public service.

The Westphalian order, eroded by its own historical contradictions and rooted in selectively appropriated ideals, continues its genocide of innocent communities trapped between collapsing norms.

Riding the crest of the planet’s fragile energy gradient — billions of years in the making — and with symbolic technology in hand, we carve in to the surfboard the biosphere has shaped through countless cycles, on which we balance. When did we lose our footing? How did we sever ourselves from the waves that gave us life? Why are we so distracted by the thrill of the ride that we mistake it for progress, while the grave depths below loom closer?

As ecological degradation erodes the material preconditions of life, the ascent of AI threatens to remove the need for human cognitive labour. Thank you for your attention on this matter🙏

How do “core” regions of this planet act as a topological sinks for people, matter and technological devices?

A “solution,” whether chemical or conceptual, is not the vanishing of parts but their redistribution into an energetically and entropically favourable phase.

This century calls not for more force, but more discernment. Not for more explosions, but more co-presence. If physics taught us how to break the world, chemistry may teach us how to reassemble it.

Living with the Internet means living in a library. If your NFT were truly valuable, you wouldn’t need Bitcoin’s blockchain to store it. People would preserve it willingly because it would be worth keeping around.

Every act bears moral weight and thus entails guilt. To live is to trespass. Only within a community can this guilt be borne and forgiven. The sovereign, in maturity, diffuses his power of pardon, allowing the community to forgive itself.

It’s a full time job being a social animal. To surrender that for money, an abstraction born of distrust and scarcity, is to risk trading relation for transaction.

As we sit on the brink of AI and automation at scale, we fear joblessness not because we lack work to do, but because we’ve built a world that devalues the most essential work which care giving.
