According to Decider, during one segment of the comedy gig, Rock shared that he’d recently seen Will Smith’s latest movie “Emancipation.” For those who haven’t seen the motion picture, the “Men In Black” star plays a runaway slave desperately trying to escape a Louisiana plantation after almost being killed. __________________________________________________ Rock made light of his feud with Smith by jokingly telling the crowd, “The other day, I watched ‘Emancipation’ just so I could watch him getting whipped.” But that wasn’t all — the funnyman also touched on whether getting slapped by Smith in front of a star-studded crowd hurt, to which Rock said “Hell yeah, it hurt. He played Muhammad Ali! I played Pookie (in ‘New Jack City’). Even in animated movies, I’m a zebra, he’s a f***ing shark. I got hit so hard, I heard ‘Summertime’ ringing in my ears.” __________________________________________________ While it’s been almost a year since Smith hopped on stage and slapped Rock for making a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett’s buzzcut hairstyle, it’s believed that the A-list actors still haven’t spoken since the altercation.
