It’s a country with humble and hardworking people. With a kind, joyful, and helpful culture. With the spirit to be reborn in the eyes of the world. At this moment, the peace and progress can be felt on every street. Families are reclaiming the public spaces that originally belonged to them. It's impossible to take away the happiness of Salvadorans of their country. Nayib Bukele has accomplished the impossible. But I believe he has more difficult battles ahead. One of these is replacing weapons with education in all of El Salvador’s territory. And he has to keep away from El Salvador’s dark history that could drag it back to a Martínez (1931 - 1944).
