I was at his show today.

I found a hotline to consult social media addiction. I predict there will be dedicated rehabs for screen/internet addiction in a few years. If not they already have such treatment centers.
A Japanese company taught the CEO's speeches and books to an AI. Now employees can ask questions to this AI when they need his advice.
The CEO- "I created this for the happiness of employees. "

I use both Japanese and English.
As the language gap is big, I try not to have a split of my personality in two languages. Or to minimize the gap of how I speak and think. As a long term, I don't thin it is very healthy to have the split of my personality in two languages everyday.
Similarly, it may not be healthy to have a split of personality online and in real life. It does affect daily life.

I don't have to feel defeated but I do.
my husband's newer phone takes a better pic than my old one. No correction no extra lighting.

Thinking about all these 23 years. When I moved to the US, the I lived near the recruiting center. The Iraq war was still going on.
I saw very young soldiers in brand new uniforms. Even that world is already gone. We didn't have smart phones back then I believe.
One good thing I did after 9II is getting rid of my TV. I was tired of watching war news all the time. Back then I was living in Japan. But we saw everything on time. It was too much stimulus for me.
I saw a painting by Larry Poons today. I have been seeing his work constantly in-person for years and find them interesting and good.
People criticize him but his works always have up-lifting positiveness. His acrylic paintings don't have a plasticness unique to acrylic paints.
I should have taken a pic.

I stopped using a client which I liked in terms of UX and speed. I noticed I check nostr less addictively, now, and enjoy more. Better design and speed increase usability. But def more addictive.
open-source and the de-centralized nostr gives me a choice and make me think about the stuff I never noticed.
