This is a #handmade paper from Thailand, I bought at a very small local paper store owned by an older couple. They were surprisingly inexpensive. The owner said the people who have been making this paper will quit as no young generations want to do it. So I bought one of the last packages at the store. #handmadepaper businesses are very difficult to sustain now. It is a very difficult work that require skills and you need to work with hands and cold water etc. Young people don't want to do, and it is not profitable I imagine. As a consumer, handmade papers in general became super expensive (esp imported to the US). I have been wondering if there is a good way to support such businesses. They don't need millions of dollar. They need a consistent support. This is a slowly dying industry as of now. #flowerstr #artstr

Is anyone important in the jail and appeared today to the public via video conference? I thought I saw today, on the electric news that goes around the building, something like "Trump appeared via video message from the jail for the first time." I was like "Oh, I didn't know he was in the jail" Apparently he is not. Just check to see if I hallucinated or misread or something else, i live in a major US city 😅

I appreciate Jack's reference to one's "agency" being at stake in terms of algorithm and social medias. I truly think we are at the point of history, one needs to consciously choose to be a free being whether it is online or in-person life. It is an interesting time.

Could anyone let me know how auto-follow work? They give you suggested accounts? Or you auto-follow without your knowing? Do they ask what's your interests? When I started, I started with zero. So, I am surprised that they have this now. #asknostr

#gardenstr #farm people! Have you ever planted potatoes/ carrots from supermarket? I did it when i was a kid (it was ok I guess). I suspect they do some processing nowadays. How was your experience? What about those from farmers' market?

As a daily practiceI, I have been "sitting/ standing in a quiet mode" for a while in the morning , It really helps. I hesitate to call it "meditation." I may have a better effect when I turn off my devices. I want to shut off my internet router too. But I have family so I won't do it 😄
