Windborne on Instagram: "We are releasing the recording! It’s in our story (or highlights!) We learned this song through our singing teacher in Corsica, Jean-Etienne Langianni, who wrote it using a traditional text that says: It was the mountains of Orezza that made me completely happy The song of the dove and the partridge Telling the whole world we held each other dearly. The song is a paghjella, a couplet song, which are performed in a semi improvised way. There is a basic structure of a melody to each piece, along with chords that we have to get to along the way,  but how each singer gets from note to note is different every time, as they respond to each other and improvise with ornamentation. Each singer has a different role within the group, and rules that they follow to make the song. If folks would be interested, we could talk more about that here too!"
