The FUDster anti bitcoin statement of "they'll just shut the internet off" is obviously stupid. The mechanisms of control are built on it, of course "they" wouldn't shut off their power. But what happens when access to the internet REQUIRES government identification? Let's assume theres no fooling the verification process, no more un-gated internet access, what then? What is the solution if I can't get my ID renewed because I havent paid 300 bucks on child support last year for a kid I lost from a divorce I never had? Sure theres a couple of people on here using radios to send notes. But does that pay the water bill? I cant even access my bank without internet access. The grocery store certainly isn't accepting cashu nut emojis over meshtastic. So I guess the question is, how do we prepare for that eventuality?
