For last week’s meeting, Naomi covered our suggested plan for monthly savings, Bitcoin purchases, anytime withdrawals, and business loan opportunities. Also, a discussion on Bitcoin’s volatility, challenges of saving as a group, and the possibility of loan defaults, was briefly highlighted. Building knowledge, saving smarter, and growing together is the vision and mission.

The Moms Meet-Up at Tango Gardens was such a delightful gathering! The moms shared their inspiring journeys while engaging in playful, joy-filled activities that, in Kenyan tradition, might be considered childish — undefined but they brought so much happiness and togetherness. image

This is how delightful merchants that #AcceptBitcoin look like! While 15 seems a good number of merchants to help build a circular economy, we aim for more in the coming years. Because a fully functional circular economy thrives when #Bitcoin circulates within it.

According to the Oxfam inequality report, this is where we stand as women in Kenya: -We earn 35% less than men — women earn only 65 cents for every shilling a man earns. -Only 13% of us legally own agricultural land, and among the poorest families, this drops to just 4%. -We are 5 times more likely to engage in unpaid care work, limiting our opportunities for paid employment and economic independence.

In last week's meeting, we dove into forming a ‘Sacco’ to secure a future where our children never lack and to also grow as a community. Together we are saving today to secure their tomorrow. image

Empowering mothers is the first step toward creating stronger, more hopeful futures for the next generations. When mothers acquire knowledge, financial literacy, and confidence, their children grow up with better opportunities and security. This spirit of empowerment is reflected in the inspiring story of children with disabilities learning on a mobile STEM bus — demonstrating that opportunity, innovation, and inclusion can be accessible to everyone, everywhere. Through technology, education, or Bitcoin, we are working toward a future where every mother and child can succeed. Our book, The Sovereign Mother, is here to support new mothers in planning a secure and bright future for their babies from birth. You can order a copy online or donate one to a mother. Visit thesovereignmother.com to learn more.

What a vibe! 🧡 We had such a productive day with the merchants from our circular economy. It’s truly inspiring to see how willing and eager everyone is to learn more about #Bitcoin. Big thanks to our guest speaker Ronnie from @AfribitKibera for joining us! And as promised, we made sure nobody went home empty-handed. ⚡️ Check out: #Spedn #CircularEconomy

Did you know that fewer babies are being born these days? The *global fertility rate* is now **2.25 children per woman**, down 6.2% since 2019. In some places — like South Korea — it dropped to just **0.73.** For Bitcoin Babies, this makes our mission even more powerful: helping mothers invest in their children’s future — no matter how small the family size or the effort invested. https://www.voronoiapp.com/demographics/Total-Fertility-Rates-By-Country-7136

Generational wealth isn't just about the inheritance you leave behind; it's about the biology you pass on. Biology adapts to poverty and stress, passing on disadvantage at the cellular level. At Bitcoin Babies, we’re breaking that chain in Kenya. We’re using the hardest money on earth to build the strongest kids on earth. Be part of their story.⚡️ Consider a donation: image

At this week’s moms' meeting, we shared what’s next in our journeys. As our babies grow, many moms are ready to level up — with school plans, business ideas, and a whole lot of courage. We are proud of this community. It feels good to dream together. It feels good to dream together. image

Unjustified C-sections are rising across Africa — often done for convenience or profit, not medical need. @WHO says only 10–15 of births should require one. Every woman deserves safe, respectful, informed birth care — not unnecessary surgery Watch:
