According to the Oxfam inequality report, this is where we stand as women in Kenya: -We earn 35% less than men — women earn only 65 cents for every shilling a man earns. -Only 13% of us legally own agricultural land, and among the poorest families, this drops to just 4%. -We are 5 times more likely to engage in unpaid care work, limiting our opportunities for paid employment and economic independence. https://kenya.oxfam.org/latest/publications/kenyas-inequality-crisis

At this week’s moms' meeting, we shared what’s next in our journeys. As our babies grow, many moms are ready to level up — with school plans, business ideas, and a whole lot of courage. We are proud of this community. It feels good to dream together. It feels good to dream together.
