I’m trying to find the Canadian bitcoin conference on nostr. Their pub key is npub1gap49tc2zmlv7ktqjprc4k4xj6zeuxem4uvxll2x39sxu but nothing comes up in a search. Am I doing something wrong?

I have 225 followers. Will be changing my profile pic to a thirst trap shortly to see how many more followers I get. Will report back.
I hadn’t seriously considered until this weekend that when people realize #bitcoin is an escape hatch from the corrupt fiat system, they won’t be happy to get in, but instead will lash out in anger at those waving the caution flag. Wild times.
Why am I seeing so many people insist that recent action by the fed is not QE as though it makes a difference. QE is creating money out of thin air to stimulate the economy and the recent action is creating money out of thin air to stabilize the banking sector. Money created is money created. Am I wrong?
Brrrrrrrrrrrrr.

This may be unpopular but I don’t care. Don’t be a bitcoin maxi puritan. Getting rekt on shitcoins and becoming a maximalist is a valid path and if that’s your path, don’t feel bad. #[0] pretends that he wasn’t once an ICO mogul.

Someone who's brought 100 people to Bitcoin and zero to "crypto" is WAY better for the world than someone who brings 1000 people to Bitcoin and 990...
I think Balaji betting a milly that #bitcoin goes to a milly within 90 days is a clever marketing stunt and he will win either way. But I have to admit it got me thinking about the implications of a sudden hyperinflation and it scares the hell out of me. There will be violence and social unrest like we’ve never seen. I hope for a more gradual and peaceful road to hyperbitcoinization.
Dude this is wild. Balaji betting bitcoin will be 1 million dollars in 90 days? Tell me I am misunderstanding what he’s saying.

I will take that bet.
You buy 1 BTC.
I will send $1M USD.
This is ~40:1 odds as 1 BTC is worth ~$26k.
The term is 90 days.
All we need is a mutuall...
Hey #[0] users, lately when I’m viewing the global feed, it keeps on refreshing when a new message arrives and auto scrolls so I can’t really read messages before it jumps to the next. Is anyone else having this problem?
@notlouisck on twitter isn’t actually Louis CK is it? I thought for sure it was a troll account but then can’t figure out why so many people are interacting with it.
Pick one number and one letter. If this gets 100 responses, two lucky respondents will get 50K sats.
1. Jan 6 was a violent insurrection
2. Jan 6 was NOT a violent insurrection
A. I lean right
B. I lean left
C. I lean Libertarian
D. Other/apolitical
This dip just allowed me to hit a stacked sats milestone and I’m feeling incredibly blessed. Not in a cheesy hashtag blessed sort of way, but in a real happy to be alive during this momentous time in history sort of way. To all you plebs, I love you all. You will always be welcome in my citadel. If you don’t follow me or I don’t follow you, let’s correct that. #love.
Once in awhile, with the right prompt, chat gpt nails it. Here’s the prompt:
Describe how a permission-less, censorship resistant social media platform that transmits notes and other stuff over relays and allows people to send small amounts of bitcoin to each other could change the world for the better.
Here’s the reply:
By using decentralized relays, this platform could enable individuals to communicate freely without fear of censorship or government surveillance. It could also enable financial transactions to occur without intermediaries, such as banks or payment processors, which could be especially valuable in areas where access to traditional financial services is limited.
Additionally, a decentralized social media platform could help to address issues related to data privacy and ownership. Currently, social media platforms collect and store vast amounts of user data, which is then used to target advertising or sold to third parties. By leveraging decentralized relays, users could maintain control over their data, ensuring that it is not exploited without their consent.
Overall, a permission-less, censorship-resistant social media platform that transmits notes and other content over decentralized relays and allows people to send small amounts of Bitcoin to each other has the potential to promote freedom of expression, financial empowerment, and protect user privacy.
