Founder of the Queen City Sovereignty Salon, leading my community into creating a value-for-value economy encouraging sovereignty every step of the way. Been here since January 2025 and still figuring things out. I am a real lady nostrich, I promise I am not a bot and that is not what a bot would say. There will be puppy pictures, her name is Princess Aurora. I try to keep things positive and spread love โค๏ธ. I am a very silly billy. My favorite "conspiracy" recently is around the gifted and talented program some of us were in during elementary school. Did you get the pink drink? Did you listen to the gateway experience on giant headphones? Did you play the beep boop game to guess what happens next? Did you play the Zener cards or make pictures out of abstract blocks? As an adult do you notice you have stronger than usual intuition? Do you have extremely vivid dreams that are sometimes prophetic? Can you hear the click clicks? Do you still have imaginary friends? Do they tell y

Storm prep 2026: Costco order with bottled water, rock salt, space heaters, and five pounds of butter and cheese. The essentials. Towel in the mail slot. Lots of blankets and flashlights on deck. This is a super drafty house, I have enough plastic wrap and tape to seal the downstairs area. This would be a huge pain in the ass, but if I lose power I'll be screwed if I don't. Long range forecast is predicting below freezing weather for the next two weeks so even if we don't get hit hard these mountain roads won't be great until the freeze breaks ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ I'm obliged to go to a community meeting tonight. Sometimes I do regret the scooter lifestyle ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ›ต๐Ÿฅถ image

Enshittification is so exhausting ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ I used to make my own hair oil, it was time consuming and annoying but worked well enough for regular bimonthly treatments. One time I couldn't find a good source for rosemary oil, so I experimented and bought this rosemary & mint premium hair oil. Initially I was suspicious because it had water and alcohol, which can be drying. But I found I actually loved it! I no longer had to wear a shower cap to bed as it would dry, I could feel the mint tingling my scalp, and it was the best treatment for dandruff issues I've ever found in addition to helping my hair grow long. I loved this stuff so much that I would buy six bottles at a time ๐Ÿ˜ Welp, my recent order came in and last night I applied it to my hair before bed. I could tell immediately it smelled different. Not bad, but I was instantly suspicious. Then it never dried, my head was a worse oil slick than when I used castor oil as the main oil for my own concoctions. LOOK WHAT THEY DID TO MY FAVORITE PRODUCT!!!!!!! It's now mostly soybean and canola oil with perfume! WHY ARE THEY ALLOWED TO CHANGE THEIR PRODUCT AND NOT MENTION IT?!?! Like how stupid do they think we are that we wouldn't notice a difference?!?!? At least I have a cool oil infusion machine now so maybe going back to making my own hair potions won't be such a pill. I am so disappointed ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ญ #enshittification #fiatgames #hair

Ok in today's Linux adventures I was able to successfully install many of the programs I use regularly. This is great because once I do a full migration my work flow doesn't have to change too much. Easy: (found in software manager) Signal Shotcut OBS Studio Handbreak* I did have to find a flatpak ref for this but it was no biggie Moderate success: (partial install / space issues) RStudio: I was able to install the R language and run it in a terminal, but my attempts to load RStudio failed. I think this wouldn't be impossible to fix, I just didn't want to spend more time. PyCharm: I was able to download the setup files and started to run them but came up with errors that I was running out of space. This makes sense because Linux is running off the USB stick and doesn't have my full computer's bandwidth. Hard / #asknostr any advice? Trezor: I downloaded a "communication" thing but it wasn't the actual trezor program and I'm not sure where to find the proper one. Scrivener: this is the only one in my current stack that isn't open source, so I'm open to better alternatives. It seems there is no official release of Scrivener for Linux so I might just switch programs. #linux #freedomtech #FOSS

I am loving these #aurora pictures folks! Keep it up! There are reports of sightings as far south as Spain right now. ๐Ÿคžonce it gets darker I'm going to take Princess Aurora on a late night walk to see if I can catch a glimpse here in Virginia. She's named after the phenomena because when I first signed up to get her I panicked and asked God for a sign if it was the right thing to do. That night I saw the Aurora Borealis from my window in Seattle ๐Ÿคฏ
