Just to give some examples: Telegram, Perplexity, etc. My work and hobby is all aspects of nuclear energy. This led to the weekly collection of nuclear news and its publication as articles on nostr. Until now, I have been using Perplexity to extract information. Now I would like to switch to an open source, similarly functioning, self-hosted solution. This is the perplexica-ollama combo, combining the ministral3:8b and embeddinggemma models. I am writing this at length so that you can see the full picture of the past, present, and future.
