Heyo #kitchenstr and #foodstr, I’m in the market for a new stainless steel pan and spatula. Main priorities are to avoid toxins like aluminum, get a long-lasting product, and relative ease of cleaning. Any recommendations?

My dad said today something along the lines of, “We’ve always had high rates of autism; we used to just call them engineers.” 😂 Check my bio to learn more.

Logical Fallacies There are 8. 1. Ad Hominem: attack on one’s character instead of the issue at hand 2. Red herring: shifting the focus by introducing something irrelevant to the issue at hand 3. Straw man: exaggerate or misrepresent the topic at hand to make it easier to refute 4. Slippery slope: claim that if we allow a starting point to happen, then a following sequence of events will definitely occur 5. False dilemma/dichotomy: claim that there are only two options in a scenario, usually two opposite options 6. Hasty generalization: making a statement while considering only a few examples, instead of using more extensive research to back up the claim 7. Appeal to authority: overstate or exaggerates the expertise of an authority figure 8. Begging the question: making a claim based on an assumption, but not providing any evidence of the assumption being true These are my notes from the Wiser World podcast.

It’s interesting, I grew up Catholic and was baptized, but after becoming disillusioned from the church for most of my teenage and young adult life, I came back to religion in a rather logical way. In the past couple years, I found myself making mistakes in life until I finally thought to myself, “In the course of human history, someone must have had these same struggles. Maybe I can learn from their mistakes and make better decisions in my own life.” I remember searching “ancient wisdom” on the internet and after looking around and reading a bit, it finally clicked for me. Ancient wisdom is what the Bible is all about. Now, I continue to seek wisdom and the journey continues 🤙

My coworker tried to download Strike and he said that the Apple App Store said it was not available in the US. At the time (yesterday), he was in New York. Anyone know about any restrictions like this? CC: @jack mallers

Texted an old friend this week to tell him to get his coins off Binance (I remembered him mentioning he used Binance last time I talked to him about a year ago). He had also shilled MATIC and maybe other shitcoins. I had told him I’m bitcoin only at the time. He responded to my text this week saying that he doesn’t have Binance and “I’m becoming more like you now, just sticking to BTC”. Proud #orangepill moment 🫡

My advice to normies, of which there are probably little to none on #nostr, is that buying #Bitcoin for anything over $120,000 this cycle is speculative.
