I really love disposable cameras. Aside from the quality having a nostalgic feel to it, it’s almost a reminder of living in the moment. You can’t look back and take another one if the first one wasn’t perfect. You just have to wait and see how it all turned out later on.

Got a promotion at work

One thing that I found was very grounding and therapeutic in my time off was rolling joints. I would sit at my desk for hours in silence practicing different rolls, different techniques, xyz. I think because it used to be so hard for me and I wanted to achieve that satisfaction of doing it. So I had to basically re-teach myself (forcefully, might I add) patience. The funny thing is that if I roll a regular size joint, the whole thing could last me all week. So I was cranking these things out and running out of material to roll with but not smoking any of them. Fun little discoveries.

Things have been very tough. Very scary. Very ambiguous. I had to take a step back. I was trying to give to everyone what I couldn’t give myself. I still have some decisions to make. I still have some heart ache. But hard resetting after doing some soul searching, digesting, waiting, does wonders.
