Why do people not share their bitcoin public keys the same way they share their Nostr public 🔑 keys Like I could post my bc1 public address for everyone on Nostr to see my stack I’m consolidated into one UTXO So it would or could be my reputation? Like ok here is my proof of reserves Everyone could see me stacking and consolidating…. Out in the open But nobody has the private key except me So I’m the only one that could access it… Or is this only for like companies and nations showing proof of treasuries? And individuals would be better off with maximum privacy And nobody knows who has what or how much anyone has I guess I’m asking if Is there a use case for a regular person to show proof or reserves? Or only governments and businesses?

I prefer single sig That’s all I’ve ever done That’s all I know I get so overwhelmed and terrified and confused by multi sig I just like having my seed phrase Just one key 🔑 And I know I’m the only person in the world with that key I have it in steel, on paper, and I memorized it. But I have heard people say that multisig is even more secure Somebody wanna try to sell me on multisig??? Like what are the benefits vs just having a simple seed phrase? #asknostr
