So My relocation a couple years ago Let’s talk about that from Arkansas to Virginia… They flew me out there for my in person interview. Put me up at the fanciest hotel in the city, recruiting team takes me out to a bar the night before the interview. They promise me the moon and stars… during the interview. 5k relo. But i quickly found out it was only 3k for misc. (whatever I wanted) The other 2k was for specific things They offered me a 5 k sign on bonus But I quickly realized it was 2,500- because 1/2 of it went to taxes. Now they did pay the movers And real estate agent. But anything that I needed to get reimbursed for…. They made it such a hassle and the app didn’t even work so I eventually gave up on getting reimbursed. They offered to tow a vehicle. But I ended up selling one and we drove the other one. I saw the receipt for the movers was like 30 grand lol Because they had a team of like 10 people that boxed up everything in our house and loaded it on an 18 wheeler Then unloaded and unboxed everything at new location.
