Long live Futurama ๐

Imagine, the Bitcoin price is at $100,000 and rises by an average of 25% per year. You save $1,000 in Bitcoin per MONTH.
After 10 years, you will own just a bit more than 0.5 Bitcoin. Few.

Do we have any #nostr stats? How many users on Nostr? Are there any people besides #Bitcoiner? Does anyone know anything?
Good morning fellow Nostriches ๐ Are you ready for another wonderful Monday?

Many economists warn of the dangers in a deflationary world, predicting economic downturns. However, I view this differently, as I personally operate within such a deflationary environment by investing my savings in Bitcoin. Bitcoin, an asset consistently rising in value (so far), places every consumption choice in direct competition with its acquisition.
But does this mean I consume less? Not necessarily. Instead, it leads to more conscious consumption on my part. This mindful consumption has the advantage of sidelining low-quality and often environmentally harmful products. I firmly believe that both overproduction and overconsumption are detrimental to our environment in the long run. Thus, more conscious consumption could be beneficial not just for individuals, but for the planet as a whole.
Bitcoin, often viewed as digital gold, offers more than just a financial revolution.
In a digitized world where personal data is controlled by large corporations and governments, Bitcoin symbolizes individual sovereignty and autonomy. It enables transactions without traditional banks and protects identity. In times of dwindling trust in central institutions, Bitcoin promotes the concept of "self-sovereign identity," where individuals manage their own identity.
Bitcoin could thus usher in a renaissance of the feeling of individual control and privacy in the digital era. It emphasizes the power and autonomy of the individual.
Hand on heart, fellow Nostriches - besides all the great features that bitcoin offers - what are your financial goals, and what's your time horizon?
I've been in since 2018, recently took a year off from work, and hope to be financially free by 2032. But I'll also be 50+ by then.
