There's an intuitively obvious way to know beyond reasonable doubt that the daycare situation is fraud: If you actually had a legitimate business and someone with 1M+ followers came to your establishment with a camera to post online, you'd be overjoyed with the opportunity to show them around or brag about your daycare. Real business owners pay 10s of thousands of dollars for that kind of exposure. The only reason you would lock down, get vicious, defensive, or violent, is because you got caught in a lie. Period.

If we aren't trying to bend or break the immoral rules of a corrupt system in a peaceful way, then we aren't moving things forward. This is the *purpose* of P2P and censorship resistant technology. To build a better world around the corrupted one. Not to protect criminals, but to protect those who defy criminals in power.

Govt: "We need your information to protect you from criminals." [checks notes] "Sorry, I meant to sell it to criminals so they can kidnap you and your family until you give up your money."

waiting for certainty before believing in your own success is a guaranteed path to failure. It is necessarily so that you believe success is possible before you can even meaningfully engage in all that must be done for success to occur.

Something that should be a red flag... every single time someone talks about how "sound money is bad for the economy," they point to price collapse caused by massive unrestricted debt creation.... which happens to be the single most obvious and ubiquitous product of fiat money. Literally. Every. Time. It isn't a coincidence that the people who print money tell you that money they can't print "iS dAnGEroUs."

Video and image gen models are getting so insane. Will be reading a piece soon on what happens when all forms of digital "provenance" begin falling into an ocean of "well i literally have zero way to know if this is real or not" and what that may do to the public psyche, the culture, and future generations. The people who say "but the data says" and ignore the enormous amount of ambiguity and bias in *recording that data,* and the core fact that all studies and all science begins with anecdotal data and personal experience, have completely reversed the logic of science. If you ignore direct experience that occurs with immediate temporal connection in literally 1000s of people, and then shortly thereafter in an order of magnitude more, you've not merely made a joke out of science, you've let the perception of "medical authority" override your common sense.

The govt has done such horrific damage to the healthcare and insurance industries that there is an entirely alternative industry of “unapproved” medical professionals and “insurance as crowd funding” being built from the ground up simply to escape the leviathan of insurance/establishment insanity. We won’t fix the idiocy it created, but in a sly roundabout way we will get honest, sensible care and disaster protection by avoiding their system altogether. I have left it and will never look back. It’s little different than fiat vs bitcoin in my mind. Going back is so idiotic that I chuckle in horror at the thought of even entertaining it.

#asknostr I’m looking for a project with someone that I literally spoke with on the podcast (cannot find the episode), about a Nostr login that used traditional login schemes like “sign in with Apple” but did so in a blinded way. So they could host the server with the keys, but never actually access the keys. Does anyone remember this and/or know what/who I might be talking about?
