Yo @jb55 is there a way we can get a “copy link” to a Nostr note in Damus so people can view it on the web? I was thinking an njump link or something, but then realized this could be a good way to direct someone to Damus: Have a Damus.io/nostrnoteid URL and when you go there to read it, there’s a “get Damus to post” or a comment section where when you hit the “add comment” button it links you to download the app. This could be a good driver where people see content they want to engage with, and the “solution” is to get Damus. Would be up to help out for a bounty for this. I’ve had some everyday interneters ask me about this with Nostr.

When govt desperately wants a war. When there’s a looming financial crisis that needs a scapegoat. And when there is major public dissent against the push for war… That is historically when false flags happen. Just sayin. Stay safe out there. image

Someone else's opinion is not oppression. Someone insulting you, also is not oppression. The first is just disagreement, the second is, at worst, being rude. However, if you attack them, make "hate laws" that literally send the state to steal from them, restrict their actions or speech, or fire them from their jobs over it, that actually IS oppression. People in this country have become so mentally weak, that they become psychotic and violent when they hear something as innocuous as a contradicting opinion on very simple issues.

Dave Smith: “I was 8 years old when the US invaded Iraq for the first time. I have vague memories of the celebration afterwards. War hawks were bragging about the overwhelming success and how easy the whole thing was. We went on to fighting in Iraq for most of the next 30 years taking thousands of casualties and costing us trillions of dollars. I remember vividly the “mission accomplished” celebration two months into the 20 year catastrophe that was George W Bush’s invasion of Iraq. What followed was a wide consensus that it was one of, if not, the worst foreign policy blunders in modern American history. I remember Hillary Clinton boasting that “we came, we saw, he’s dead” immediately after overthrowing Muammar Gaddafi. A few years later when she was running for President, she wouldn’t dare bring it up because it was such an obvious, colossal failure. They told us that the Afghan army would hold the nation together. They told us that sanctions alone would defeat the Russians. They always lie but especially at the beginning of a war. I’ve seen a lot of people celebrating the Israel/Iran war for the last 48 hours. Talking about how it’s going exactly according to plan, and how easy it will be to overthrow the Iranian regime and improve life for Iranians as well as stability in the region. Maybe they are finally right this time, and for the first time. But, they are definitely celebrating way, way too prematurely, and I see no indication that it won’t be a catastrophe just like the rest.”
