"If it FEELS good, do it!" - is a repackaging of a much older idea; very enticing to a human not in control of their desires and emotions. image The heart is more deceitful than all else And is desperately sick; Who can understand it? -- Jeremiah 17:9 One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And one who rules his spirit, than one who captures a city. -- Proverbs 16:32 Beloved, I urge you as foreigners and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts, which wage war against the soul. -- 1 Peter 2:11 #spiritualwarfare Rabbit-hole: This man is Aleister Crowley. Subject of the Ozzy Osbourne song, and occult influencer of pop culture to this very day. I believe one of the members of Led Zeppelin alao purchased his former property. He self-described as "the evilest man who ever lived," and also claimed to be the "beast of the apocalypse."

I cast you to the ground; I put you before kings, That they may see you. “By the multitude of your iniquities, In the unrighteousness of your trade You profaned your sanctuaries. ⚠️👀 The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer. Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without complaint. As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:7-10 #theway #truth #peace

image If you want to learn about the book of Romans, READ the book of Romans. If you want to watch a youtube presentation of another human being's thoughts and opinions on the book of Romans, do so with this understanding, and have YOUR OWN copy of the Word with you at all times. Especially in today’s world. The Bible is God placing His Word in your hands, and inviting you to get to know Him, without the requirement of another human being to interpret it for you (as if it needed to be). Jesus answered him, “I have spoken openly to the world. I have always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where all Jews come together. I have said nothing in secret." 📜 John 18:20 This isn't to suggest God doesn't empower and equip people into his service, and in His Church. These folks are here to support and encourage you in your growing relationship with Jesus. Yet, consider that the Bereans in Macedonia were admonished for comparing the Word against the teaching of Paul himself: Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so. 📜 Acts 17:11 #knowtheWORD

image In one of Jesus' only displays of anger, He drove the money changers from God’s temple. It was the only time Jesus used force during his ministry. What were money changers doing in the temple? When Jews came to Jerusalem to pay their temple tax, they could only pay it with a special coin - the half shekel of the sanctuary. It was pure silver, of an assured weight, and the only coin that did not bear the image of a pagan emperor. For Jews, this made the half shekel the only coin acceptable to God. However, the coins were not plentiful, as the money changers had cornered the market on them, and then raised the price - just like any other commodity - to whatever the market would bear. In other words, the money changers were making enormous profits because they held a virtual monopoly on money. The Jews had to pay whatever they demanded. To Jesus, this totally violated the sanctity of God's house. https://rumble.com/v2tj5q0-the-money-masters-subt.-espaol.html

image And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” 📜 Matt 4:19 This was the true Light that, coming into the world, enlightens every person. He was in the world, and the world came into being through Him, and yet the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own people did not accept Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of a man, but of God. 📜 John 1:9-13

image In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. John 1:1-5

image False Spirits & Teaching But there were also false prophets in Israel, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will cleverly teach destructive heresies and even deny the Master who bought them. In this way, they will bring sudden destruction on themselves. Many will follow their evil teaching and shameful immorality. And because of these teachers, the way of truth will be slandered. In their greed they will make up clever lies to get hold of your money. But God condemned them long ago, and their destruction will not be delayed. 2 Peter 2:1-3 Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so. Acts 17:11 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. 2 Timothy 4:3-4 For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. Jude 4 And what I am doing I will continue to do, in order to undermine the claim of those who would like to claim that in their boasted mission they work on the same terms as we do. For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds. 2 Corinthians 11:12-15 No need to point any fingers to argue there needs to be an ongoing scriptural alignment check in many churches ASAP. [Wolves] Warnings in the WORD are almost limitless in supply. The question is not IF it's happening.

image 💥🙏 PRAYER 🙏💥 No man is greater than his prayer life. The pastor who is not praying is playing; the people who are not praying are straying. The pulpit can be a shopwindow to display one's talents; the prayer closet allows no showing off. Poverty-stricken as the Church is today in many things, she is most stricken here, in the place of prayer. We have many organizers, but few agonizers; many players and payers, few pray-ers; many singers, few clingers; lots of pastors, few wrestlers; many fears, few tears; much fashion, little passion; many interferers, few intercessors; many writers, but few fighters. Failing here, we fail everywhere. The ministry of preaching is open to few; the ministry of prayer—the highest ministry of all human offices—is open to all. This world hits the trail for hell with a speed that makes our fastest plane look like a tortoise; yet alas, few of us can remember the last time we missed our bed for a night waiting upon God for a world-shaking revival. The secret of praying is praying in secret. A sinning man will stop praying, and a praying man will stop sinning. We are beggared and bankrupt, but not broken, nor even bent. Prayer is profoundly simple and simply profound....In the matter of New Testament, Spirit-inspired, hell-shaking, world-breaking prayer, never has so much been left by so many to so few. For this kind of prayer there is no substitute. We do it—or die! —Excerpt from Leonard Ravenhill, Why Revival Tarries
