Fiat money is artificial money meant to empower nation-states.
#Bitcoin is artificial money meant to empower individuals.
The nodes of the fiat system are banks. Failing banks = failing nodes. Like patients losing blood, they only survive w/ injections of liquidity, their blood. These are costly = money printing, debasement, inflation. Compare w another system’s nodes.

People experience inflation w/out understanding it. Their pain is internalized w/out articulation bec they don’t know what causes it & why it wreaks havoc on families & societies. Institutions currently offer no help to those seeking explanation.

The Westphalian System created an order of rights w/ intermediaries at both nat’l & int’l level. Every violation of right requires a trusted third party—police, local court, int’l courts—for relief & vindication.
#Bitcoin creates a global registry of rights w/ no intermediaries.
KOHI Coffee. A quaint coffee shop along Silliman Avenue now accepts #bitcoin. The members of the Bitcoin Society of the Philippines dropped by to show support and bought coffee with bitcoin.
You won’t hear it, but yes, that’s the sound of inevitability. That’s the monetary network of the 21st century being adopted in Silliman University.

One can summarize human history as the movement of information dispersed over two social networks: money and language.

#Bitcoin is for those who need it: the unbanked, financially repressed or excluded from payment rails, OFWs seeking lower fees, wage earners whose salaries can’t catch up with inflation, monetary colonies, etc. Bitcoin is for everyone, but appeals most to those who must use it.
#Bitcoin is hard to understand, for sure. But it also happens to be the best platform for understanding the sordid past, the messy present, and our cloudy future.

#Bitcoin is likely the most theoretical and practical phenomenon we’ll ever encounter in our lifetime. It is a source of the deepest of insights and of the most mundane realizations.
#Bitcoin is not just a revolution in property rights. It’s a revolution in the concept of rights.
#Bitcoin is most useful for those who need it.
See you.

People will understand #Bitcoin when they are ready to understand Bitcoin.
Money is a battery for human labor, for the value of people’s work, for the conversion of their energy into goods and services.
Choose the best form of battery.
Choose #Bitcoin.

What is the value of Bitcoin? It is the massive positive externalities derived from a fair and honest monetary system.
The improvement on human society that will be brought about by a fair and honesty monetary system is priceless.
To more fully appreciate and understand Bitcoin, focus on the network, not on the fiat price of the token.
#Bitcoin is more interesting than bitcoin.
