According to Reuters, citing a Pakistani source, Iran shared a revised response to the U.S. proposal via Pakistani mediators. Per the Pakistani source, “we don’t have much time,” adding that both sides continue to shift left or right on key issues, making it challenging to find convergence on key issues such as nuclear enrichment and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
U.S. President Donald J. Trump met with his National Security Team this past Saturday on how to move forward with Iran and is also set to meet with them Tuesday, as U.S. officials have told Axios and a number of other news outlets that military options are currently still on the table.


According to the New York Times, citing conversations with officials from the U.S., Greenland, and Denmark, the U.S. is looking to revise its arrangement on its military posture in Greenland. Per the report, the U.S. is looking to implement an agreement where U.S. forces can stay indefinitely in the autonomous Arctic territory of Denmark, even if they become fully independent. Additionally, the U.S. is reportedly looking to gain veto powers over major investment deals in the country, as the report says that the move would in effect “box out competitors like Russia and China.” Talks have now expanded outside military matters I and are now over key resources in and around the strategically important Arctic territory.


Asked earlier if Americans should be concerned about the ongoing outbreak of Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda, President Trump said that he is certainly concerned about it but that the outbreak appears to be confined right now to Africa.
REPORTER: “Other countries have done this before. They dangled a peace deal in front of you saying one was coming, nothing has come into fruition.”
TRUMP: “A lot has come into fruition.”

According to the IRGC-affiliated news outlet Tasnim, as a part of ongoing negotiations, the U.S. has proposed that OFAC sanctions against Iran be suspended. Earlier tonight, a U.S. Air Force MQ-9 Reaper armed with several AGM-114R9X Hellfire missiles—commonly known as the “Flying Ginsu”—was reportedly shot down by Iranian-backed forces over Houthi-controlled western Yemen. Photos and videos circulating online appear to show wreckage consistent with an MQ-9.
Since the current conflict began in late 2023, more than 40 MQ-9 Reapers, with a combined value potentially exceeding $1 billion, are reported to have been lost to Iran and Iranian-backed proxy groups. Estimates indicate that at least 24 were downed over Iran, with an additional 15 to 18 destroyed by Houthis in Yemen.
Acting Secretary of the Navy Hung Cao announced that the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) Carrier Strike Group and personnel assigned to Carrier Strike Group Twelve have been awarded the Presidential Unit Citation for their service in the Middle East during the recent conflict with Iran.
In his statement, Cao cited the coordinated engagement of 125 Iranian naval vessels, the launch of 207 Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles against targets in Iran, and more than 1,700 combat air sorties flown from the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea.

U.S. President Donald J. Trump said in remarks to Fox News and reporters aboard Air Force One that China has committed to purchasing 200 Boeing aircraft along with several hundred General Electric engines.
According to comments reported by The New York Times, Trump said the agreement involves “approximately 400 to 450 engines, 200 planes, and a promise of up to 750 if they do a good job.”
Chinese authorities have not yet publicly confirmed the reported purchase. If completed, The New York Times noted that it would represent Boeing’s largest aircraft sale to China in roughly a decade.


During an interview with Fox News anchor Bret Baier, President Donald J. Trump said that while Republican gains in contested House districts could help the party retain control of the chamber, he believes a quicker resolution to the conflict with Iran would have a greater political impact.
“It helps,” Trump said. “But I think a bigger difference would be if I win quickly, as opposed to after.” He added that rising energy prices had pushed costs higher, but predicted they would fall to levels below where they were previously.
