Reports citing U.S. intelligence say the late Ali Khamenei privately doubted his son Mojtaba Khamenei was capable of succeeding him, allegedly describing him as “not very bright.” Speaking to NBC News, Donald Trump said there is still uncertainty about Mojtaba’s status: “I don’t know if he’s even alive. So far, nobody’s been able to show him.”
