Giorgio Morandi for my #grownostr #randomsaves effort Don’t know why but I really like this Italian artist. I think he lived with his mum until he died. Have to check that one. But he would just paint the same few vases and bowls and boxes over and over. In the same muted colours. I don’t think he had much of a name as an artist while alive. But he kept at it. Why? Don’t know. But I’ve always admired the humility and perseverance to keep going even when no one cares. He must have been obsessed with the paintiness of paint. For some reason I imagine he had a difficult, boring life so found comfort in what he could control, paint on his canvas For all the artists out there - thank you 🙏 What do you have stashed on your phone other than bitcoin memes, and cat photos?

right. i think I can do at least week of this thread for #grownostr then I’ll do something else posting #randomsaves on my phone camera roll. how they got there i don’t know. I like art. I save things ‘for later’ I guess now’s later today I listened to podcast about CBDCs and i was having a sh*t day at work so I got double down. but I honestly think technology like #bitcoin and #nostr have the potential to really impact change. they give me hope I’m glad to be here with you all one love freaks ✌️ it’s going to get dark but we can get through this together 🖤
