Wow! A lot of things happened in my life this last week. Mundane and unexciting in the grand schedule of things, but a roller coaster of emotion for me. I normally announce the winner of my weekly giveaway on Wednesday, but pushing back until Saturday due to all the stuff going on for me.

Right now I don't have a whole lot of time for exploring the tech stuff I'd like. So this is on my wish list for using later. "Nelua Programming Language Minimal, simple, efficient, statically typed, compiled, metaprogrammable, safe, and extensible systems programming language with a Lua flavor."

Busy day today!

I was able to successfully copy a hard disk drive that was failing with bad sectors to another good storage drive using the tool CloneZilla. I have used CloneZilla for years and it has been very helpful. I use it to make copies and "images" of whole systems. This saves me a lot of time or allows me to do things that I wouldn't otherwise be able to. The laptop pictured is being "imaged" with CloneZilla and the image is being saved on the external hard drive to the right of the laptop. CloneZilla is based on Linux and I usually live boot it from a USB drive. #CloneZilla #Linux

"Made in Philippines" I grabbed this drive to do a data transfer and noticed the label that says where it was made. Do any of my followers from the Philippines know if hard drives are still being made there? Anyone know anyone who works for a tech company? (manufacturing or other). #toshiba #philippines
