Our decline coincides with Empire.
The first "police action" was Korea ... and it has been an endless list of stupidity ever since.
The Empire must go.
If it doesn't, neither tariffs, nor DOGE, nor anything else will save us.
While I’m a skeptic, I’ll leave open the possibility that the tariffs “work.”
But if they don’t work, and everything goes to shi*t, do you know what presidents often do to cover up their economic mess?
It begins with a “W” and ends in an “R.”
When members of government follow the Constitution, there is nothing to buy. (See the Congressional career of Ron Paul).
But our members of government do not follow the Constitution.
Want a special (unconstitutional) privilege?
It's going to cost you.
Special interests like this because they can buy special privileges.
Politicians like it because they can sell special privileges.
Of course voter ID in every state is logical and necessary.
But the much bigger problem is that members of government do not have to follow the law (the U.S. Constitution).
Whatever they can get away with, they will do, knowing the chances of being punished are close to zero.
The Constitution is broken every second of every day.
Unless that is fixed (and there is no indication that anyone even cares) then voting itself is an exercise in futility.
As much as I like what Elon is doing, let's not go too far.
Humanity is not held up and sustained by man (or men).
If that were the case, we would have been dead meat long ago.
God created, sustains, preserves, provides, and rules.
We then each choose which side of the ledger we want to be on.
His side, or the side that rebels against Him.
Uh yeah...
The only problem is that the Trump Administration is stepping on the accelerator to bankruptcy.
Debt and spending are rising!
All the (stupid) war rhetoric and Middle East bombings are leading us straight into bankruptcy.
Democracy is showing itself to be a huge con.
The ones who forced it on the world (see WWI) are no longer hiding in the shadows, but are showing their teeth.
From a personal perspective, this is true and an extremely admirable aspect of Trump.
But from the perspective of the nation, he rightly portrays us as a victim, but is yet to address it.
We are a victim of our military empire. We hand out billions in foreign aid (rip-off!) and wage continuous wars on behalf of other nations (rip-off that has bankrupted us).
And yet Trump continues it all.
Someday we’ll have to be freed from empire, if not by Trump, then someone else.
I really wish it would be Trump. He’s got the stuff … He just needs the will.
Bombing Yemen is not America First (along with the rest of the Middle East).
Neither is NATO anything related to America First.
When can we be "liberated" from being ripped off by these?
Why not now?
With the first big botch of the Trump Admin’s cabinet …
We can see that the right is a mirror image of the left in the way they defend themselves.
- criticize the character of the journalist … that must make it a hoax
- the other party did worse than this, so…
- you hate America
- we don’t know who did what
- no one is going anywhere
All of this was downstream from the fact that the U.S. should not be bombing Yemen.
But Left and Right are mirror images of each other.
President Trump,
If you had a policy of America First, you wouldn't have these problems right now.
If you followed the U.S. Constitution (as you swore you would) you wouldn't have these problems right now.
Wasting our money.
Destroying lives in Yemen.
Creating hatred towards our country, and our people.
It's not even done for America, but for Israel.
Oh, and emojis.
