Venerable Visarion, born in 1900, became a monk at Sihastria Monastery. He was arrested in 1948 for his unwavering faith and resistance to communist ideology. Subjected to torture and imprisonment, he never renounced Christ. He died in Aiud prison in 1964, a martyr for his beliefs. May his prayers strengthen us to stand firm in our #Faith.
