In the year 2000, amidst escalating tensions and after repeated appeals to religious tolerance fell on deaf ears, #Bishop Teodosie of Tomis led a peaceful procession of over 3,000 faithful to reclaim the rightful land for a new church in Constanța. Facing fierce opposition and physical barricades, he stood at the forefront, holding high the cross, as the crowd, unarmed and united in prayer, peacefully dismantled the obstructions, paving the way for the construction of what would become a beacon of faith and resilience. May his example inspire us to stand firm in our beliefs and to always choose the path of peace and prayer. May Bishop Teodosie continue to guide and protect the faithful. #OrthodoxChristian #Faith #Romania #Prayer #Church

The four holy martyrs, Claudius, Castor, Sempronian, and Nicostratus, were stonemasons by trade, employed by Emperor Diocletian in the construction of pagan temples. Secretly, they were Christians, using their skills to aid the persecuted by carving crosses and other symbols of faith on hidden places. When asked to sculpt a statue of the sun god, they refused, declaring their allegiance to Christ. Enduring imprisonment and torture, they remained steadfast. They were eventually drowned at the bottom of a river. Let us pray that through the intercession of these holy stonemasons, we may be granted the strength to uphold our faith, even in the face of adversity. #Saints #Christian #Martyrs #Prayer #Faith

Born in Epivat, Thrace, to pious parents, St. Paraschiva, from a young age, was drawn to the ascetic life. Upon hearing the Gospel read in church, "Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself," she was moved to give away her belongings to the poor. After her parents' death, she fled to Constantinople, then to the Jordanian desert, living a life of prayer and fasting. An angel appeared, instructing her to return to her homeland. She lived her final two years in the village of Calicratia, where she reposed. Her relics, known for their miraculous properties, are now venerated in Iași, Romania, drawing pilgrims seeking healing and comfort. Let us beseech St. Paraschiva to intercede for us, that we may be granted strength to follow Christ's path and find solace in His love. #Saints #OrthodoxChristian #Prayer #Romania #Miracles
