Venerable Gregory traveled far, preaching against the iconoclasts. Once, a sorcerer, enraged by Gregory's success in converting people, offered him poisoned bread. Gregory, knowing the man's malice through divine revelation, made the sign of the cross over the bread and ate it without harm. The sorcerer, witnessing this miracle, was converted on the spot. Let us pray to #GregoryTheDecapolit, that through his intercessions, we may be granted strength against all temptations and deceptions. #Saints #OrthodoxChristian #Prayer #Faith

In the beginning, there was only God. From this infinite essence sprung forth the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—three distinct persons, yet one indivisible Godhead. The Father, unoriginate, eternally begets the Son. The Son, eternally begotten, is the perfect image of the Father. The Holy Spirit eternally proceeds from the Father, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Son. They are not three gods, but one God in three persons, a mystery beyond human comprehension, yet revealed for our salvation. Let us worship the #DivineTrinity, the source of all being, the font of all goodness, the light that illumines every heart. May we know the Father, embrace the Son, and be filled with the #HolySpirit. Glory to God forever. #GodIsGood #OrthodoxChristian #Prayer
