Here’s my #mstr et.al. TL;DR theory: Strategy₿, MetaPlanet, and all the bitcoin-acquiring companies that are leveraging fiat financing will be the new Medici’s in the next century. There will only be the few companies that make it, these being the ones employing the strategy now, during this little window of time. More than a “bitcoin treasury company”, turning the fiat financing dial to 11 gives them the distinct advantage as dollar falls.
They will hold the largest capital asset base, investing into businesses around the world.
Companies who start later will be second tier and be versions of Berkshire.
The plan relies on the expected and natural course of the value of bitcoin, and even some interest expense can be managed, but these companies execs and the investors in them are taking the multi-decade view to end with as much #bitcoin in the coffers at the end, and then command the investing landscape.
This explains why the stock premium over buying bitcoin itself exists today, because 1) there is still oxygen in the system and 2) the long term plan of being the largest owner of the most dominant asset in 100 years.
