GM. I use noncustodial Lightning all the time—i know it needs scaling solutions, but it’s very much functional right now, and seems like it has plenty more room for adoption as is. Fedimints aren’t ideal. And i don’t understand MEV, but i just wanted to say i like Lightning and it’s working for me right now.

My normie friends were measuring a sports field last night via Google Earth. One marveled at how exact Google measured his distance from a nearby tree. (It was within 2 feet). I mentioned the data panopticon and why it’s important to fight back. Another friend remarked, “yeah but it’s the choice we made—we gave it up.” I told him there were tools—technology that we can use to reverse that. You just have to use them.
