The world would be a much better place if everyone was just more patient and reflective of what they focus on.

Living life with an eye towards reason, philosophy, and truth. Cause and effect, economic pressures, and math ensure that Bitcoin is going to fix the world economy. Don't worry, keep calm and stack sats. Don't understand why? Study markets, money, and history. Start here: Bit.ly/StudyBitcoin
Prices going up are signals to the world, indicative of a market that needs more attention.
When bad money clouds the view, the signals fail to gain the attention they deserve.
Good money allows the free market to solve any problem, quickly.
The world doesn't need saving, the free market is never closed and will find solutions to any problem.
Without good money the free market struggles to do so as signals are distorted, with good money it won't have any issues as the signals will be as clear as distilled water.
I am insignificant, but in my insignificance I can impact the world much more meaningfully than one might imagine.
"Bitcoin isn't money if you don't spend it!"
The primary and most important function of money is as a store of value.
If your money doesn't preserve your value from the time you receive it until the time you spend it then it's not good money. It doesn't matter if the amount of time is 5 seconds or 5 centuries. Preservation of value is the most important function of good money, and provides the foundation for a growing and stable society.
Everything else comes second. If it doesn't preserve value in the short term then it cannot be a medium of exchange. If it doesn't store value over the long term then it cannot support a growing society over that time period. If it doesn't preserve value then it doesn't matter if people accept it, doesn't matter if it's fungible, doesn't matter if it's divisible, doesn't matter if it's physical or digital.
If you stack sats and nothing else, you are using Bitcoin as money without doing anything else. All the rest comes later, when you spend the value that has been preserved until you need it.
I am a philosopher king, I am without masters and I distribute value that was saved long ago and has grown significantly.
Through patience and conviction I have achieved freedom, and I look towards the future where all around me have achieved the same.
I am Bitcoin.
Thank you Satoshi.
The ancient greek philosopher's views, that the world would be a better place with philosopher kings, are accurate. With the arrival and growth of Bitcoin, that world is almost here.
A king is not the same as an authoritarian. Throughout history kings have traditionally been tied to a monopoly on the issuance of local money. In capturing the most important good in the free market (the hub of the wheel of the economy) and becoming corrupt gluttons on the backs of the people, kings became authoritarians so we associate them as one in the same.
What is a king at their core if not a guardian and distributor of value for and to the people? What is a philosopher king if not a patient and wise person, living in the present with a low time preference.
A philosopher king is capable of respecting that the market is more capable of problem solving than any individual or group.
Bitcoin eventually turns everyone who's capable of being so into philosopher kings. This is a decentralized universal kingdom of freedom, prosperity, and fairness that runs in parallel to the other systems.
Systems of value distribution are in their own competition against each other, in this way though they try as they might to control everything they are still a part of the free market. In this free market competition Bitcoin will win, in doing so it will cause every other archaic and dishonest method of value distribution to become irrelevant and ignored.
It's fascinating watching Bitcoin respond to both the crashing price and the winter storm in the US.
You can clearly see a major but very short term deviation in hashrate to the downside during the days the US was dealing with the bitter cold. Miner curtailment, helping to stabilize the grid against power outages, likely reduced how many people lost power and saved lives.
Now that the worst of the winter storm is over, curtailment is ending and mining is resuming. It is also interesting to see the overall hashrate decline much more modestly since the October high, in the prices on the open market, while the price fell 50% typical hashrate has only reduced by what looks like 15%.
This shows the resiliency of the heartbeat of the Bitcoin network, that things are working just fine and IMO the price will most likely recover and each new a ATH before long.

The people who criticize Bitcoin and lightning as doomed to fail, don't understand that the open source and decentralized nature of both layers means they're continued development will ensure both become stronger over time.
With all the drama about the elite and their inconceivably awful actions, it's never been more clear than ever.
Bitcoin's traceability is a feature, not a bug.
Once the network gets dominant, and Bitcoin is the money most people want the most, the biggest addresses will have the most scrutiny. The average pleb won't have much to fear.
Plus, it's a lot easier to increase privacy for small transactions than it is for big ones.
The world will be a better place on a Bitcoin standard, it can't come soon enough for me.
If Bitcoin were crashing while everything else was holding steady, I would be concerned.
But Bitcoin is crashing along with pretty much everything else. This is a societal issue, not a Bitcoin issue. The network is doing just fine, and will continue to mine blocks without a problem.
Remember the why behind the network, the world we're trying to build. It's coming, and it cannot be stopped.
Tick tock, next block.
Bitcoin down 45% from ATH.
Ether down 58%.
XRP down 63%.
Solana down 65%.
Once again Bitcoin is holding better than the centralized shitcoins.
Bitcoin isn't failing, the Fiat system is what's failing. The Dollar is having a temporary bull run against assets as people incorrectly assume the Dollar is safe during this chaos. But the very people causing this asset collapse are going to accelerate the collapse of the USD, just stack and HODL.
You'll be glad you did.
It's definitely scary when the price of the world's best asset goes down, and continues to go down, it's scarier when the price goes up. Way up.
Those are the times for which we HODL.
Stay safe @Pegah.
