Bitcoin is going to fix everything. Don't worry, keep calm and stack sats. Don't understand why? Study markets, money, and history. Start here: Bit.ly/StudyBitcoin
Retiring on Bitcoin protects your free speech. Because by living on the efforts of the entire world combined, your income source is decentralized and your life won't be ruined by a mob after you do or say something they don't like. We're literally living in the cave of Plato's allegory of the cave, but Bitcoin pulls you out of the cave.
FIAT inflation is like a vampirical time theft system that slowly drains us of our life energy. The FIAT system is death.
Bitcoin is kinda like an enhanced 2nd amendment to the United States Constitution. It's our defensive weapon that helps us defend ourselves from a tyrannical Government that's slowly killing all of us with Inflation.

It occurs to me that what slows down adoption is Bitcoin, as we've been using it so far, is simply stressful to use. Even for us veterans who understand things pretty well, doubt can creep in and it can still sometimes feel uncertain. Especially when life savings and leveraging FIAT credit are involved. But for newbies? It's especially terrifying. For various reasons. But you know what people do understand? Gold and Silver. The older brothers of Bitcoin, the OG sound money mediums. Just like we can turn electricity and time into Bitcoin, we need to show people how to then convert Bitcoin into Gold and Silver. If Bitcoin continues to grow at the rate it typically does then any amount given to the Bitcoin network can be fully returned within only 3 years, while the value that remains in Bitcoin has itself grown 6x. Simply by withdrawing 1% every 4 weeks, preferably into Precious Metals. I will start work on a manual on how to do this soon, people may not be able to trust their life savings but they will likely find it easy to trust Bitcoin with whatever amount they're comfortable with if they can get it back within 3 years. It's time I put my knowledge to work, and teach others how to replicate my success. I'll update more soon. ๐ŸคŸ
Hey @jack mallers and @strike are there any plans to incorporate support for KAU and KAG from Kinesis money? I would love to have those as a better than FIAT option alongside Bitcoin. Paying bills from KAU and KAG would be awesome. More stable than FIAT! Fuck FIAT.
I am disappointed in the hateful rhetoric from people on NOSTR towards various groups. I see a lot of posts blaming "The Left" for deterioration of society. Calling people "Coretards" and "Knotzis" over the OP_Return debate. Can we stop this? We're better than this. We're the freedom protocol, Bitcoin + NOSTR for financial freedom and free speech. Open dialogue, without insults and attacks, is how we change minds and find alignment with each other. We all want more people to join NOSTR, I was heavily left a few years ago and a lot of the people I know are "left". I'm not sure what I am now but I'm viciously anti authoritarian, and extremely pro freedom and Bitcoin. Imagine if I got one of my left leaning friends to join and they started seeing people say these things about them? They would leave. By posting language like this, you are hurting the growth of NOSTR and Bitcoin. We don't want to attack people, we want to welcome them and find points of agreement we can build on. We all hate corruption and dishonesty, we all want stability and upward mobility, find agreement rather than focusing on disagreement. Make friends not enemies.
Good morning. ๐ŸŒ…๐Ÿ˜Š Whoever reads this, you are loved, you are valued, you are beautiful. I don't care where you're from, what you believe in (as long as you don't want to hurt me or mine for any disagreements), what your biological variations are, or what your political beliefs are. I love you, and I would gladly share a meal and have a conversation with you. The world is too full of hate and division, we need more love and understanding. We all just want to feel safe, loved, and welcomed, well rested, well fed, and helpful towards things greater than ourselves. Work to make the world a better place, for everyone in it. โค๏ธ
If you believe that people can change their beliefs when exposed to new information, then drop all language that divides us into groups and use language that unites us all. Humanity is at it's best when people feel safe, healthy, welcomed, and a part of something bigger than themselves. We are all in this together, so let's come together towards common goals that everyone can unite behind. The true enemy is ignorance, division, and claims of authority over others. Instead of fighting each other work to change minds through open and uniting dialogue, fight for a world that allows everyone to find safety, shelter, support, community, and time to think about the big questions. See the person before you as what you might have been if you were given the same experiences and circumstances, see them as someone you can help instead of someone you need to fight. In the end, all we have is each other.
Can't wait for the drama about OP_Return, especially the hateful name calling, to be over. Bitcoin can't fail, because even if one iteration of it does we'll just fork it and resume where we left off. Just stack sats and chill, ain't nobody stopping this train.
I love you. Regardless of any difference in geology, biology, or ideology. I love you.
2029 Bitcoin overtakes all Gold. 2034 Bitcoin overtakes all FIAT. 2037 Bitcoin overtakes all combined wealth of the world. The governments of the world will work for us whether they like it or not. We have already won, they just don't know it yet.
It is a mistake to assume things will fail unless they find ways to extract value from users. Providing value to people is success, extracting value is failure.
Perhaps we should start thinking of Bitcoin Miners as Bitcoin Mints. They are after all one and the same.
"I have paid no poll-tax for six years. I was put into a jail once on this account, for one night; and, as I stood considering the walls of solid stone, two or three feet thick, the door of wood and iron, a foot thick, and the iron grating which strained the light, I could not help being struck with the foolishness of that institution which treated me as if I were mere flesh and blood and bones, to be locked up. I wondered that it should have concluded at length that this was the best use it could put me to, and had never thought to avail itself of my services in some way. I saw that, if there was a wall of stone between me and my townsmen, there was a still more difficult one to climb or break through, before they could get to be as free as I was. I did not for a moment feel confined, and the walls seemed a great waste of stone and mortar. I felt as if I alone of all my townsmen had paid my tax. They plainly did not know how to treat me, but behaved like persons who are underbred. In every threat and in every compliment there was a blunder; for they thought that my chief desire was to stand the other side of that stone wall. I could not but smile to see how industriously they locked the door on my meditations, which followed them out again without let or hindrance, and they were really all that was dangerous. As they could not reach me, they had resolved to punish my body; just as boys, if they cannot come at some person against whom they have a spite, will abuse his dog. I saw that the State was half-witted, that it was timid as a lone woman with her silver spoons, and that it did not know its friends from its foes, and I lost all my remaining respect for it, and pitied it." - Henry David Thoreau in Civil Disobedience
