Probably most nostr users are more aware of the age identification threat than others. But in this article theintercept draws a clear picture, how whistleblowing will be intercepted far more successfully.
And this means less power for the people and even more for those in charge of government.
This is why we should reason. Critiques are no enemies. They help to polish our arguments or getting rid of them, when they are illusions.
I am not my beliefs. Reasons and their conclusions can improve, when confronted with new evidence.
But I still keep being me, no matter how many viewpoints are shattered, how many I have to reconstruct.
But when I realize my theory is wrong, I can understand that there was no point in time, where my theory was true.

People that still are on such platforms could now do some gread purple pilling. Simply publish such a screen, mention that whoever disagrees with this step can find more calm social media with nostr. No such steps will be implemented anytime soon here 🙌😉

I think holding them while alive is still challanging. But to pass them to family members is a whole different thing.

I am hqppy to see Mozilla coming forward with privacy preserving ways to verify legitimate users to websites.
But probably the internet will inherently be more complicated in the future.
I used #privacypass with #kagi last week. And it works. But it still is an installation of a plugin, that needs an inizialisation. So it is an active effort one does. Hopefully many will accept a variaty of tokens.
