I think it is crutial to understand that private data have a similar mechanics as a trap for animals. We need to opt out before the desaster happens.
Our influence is at the decision, which services to use and which people and companies I am willing to share my private data.
Once they are out I have no control. But time can always heal such exposure. Now is the right time to decrease exposure of yet another private data point.
Improve your #privacy where you can. Find companies you can pay with a small amount of money and in the return store your data encrypted in a no-log dataserver instead of paying with your data.
Or when an option keep data on your own hardware. Where you have control.
Use free software. Since it is the only software we can actually have control over.
