I think freedom of speech does not only mean, that no one deletes or censors my post. Freedom of speech is already violated, when I am not able to moderate my own feed. So when I follow a user and notes from this user are not displayed. And when I do not follow a person or institution and their notes are displayed, even when I did not subscribe to anyone, that reposted it. Clearly that applies to advertisement, which is unrelated to my subscriptions but also proposed notes from every entity I do not directly follow. #freedom #freedomofspeech

Thanks for sharing this story. I think some sort of private communication and trust is key to this. Soldiers need to be able to communicate and make contracts inbetween eachother without their superior knowing about it. Since I assume that a critical mass needs to be introduced to act synchronously and have the crowd legitimacy, where a small amount of people will have no say, when they want them to fight.

My question is coming from the idea, that when a powerful entity tries to censor certain information, they pressure platforms, to dereference and delete this information. In order for a document to continue to exist in the public domain, it is extremely valuable to have a decentralized store of information, where one can find Data, Link them to certain events in order that it is findable by whoever investigates about a topic. And would be great, when volunteers could then choose topics they are willing to support to provide their free storage space to this public domain and store said data.
