How to learn my philosophy:
Start with some critical thinking on youtube with "TEDed the deomon of reason" miniseries
Start with Immanuel Kants techings, follow stoics, also very nice to read "happy" by Derren Brown, add dao techings to it
Follow this up by Podcasts like Darknet diaries and Jon Harbinger
On Youtube watch TEDx talks, Veritassium and Huberman Lab
Chronically offended by The Beave 😎
Eine klare Warnung an die #chatkontrolle von Seite #deltachat.
Es liege an der EU ob das letzte bischen online privatsphäre mit den gleichen Mitteln wie es Russland tut, beschnitten werden sollen.
Nice to see more and more of the strongest Banks in the world making steps toward #Bitcoin acceptance.
#JPMorgan accepting Bitcoins to back credits could spike Bitcoin adaption a lot.

"10 % der X-Benutzer für rund 97 % der politischen Tweets verantwortlich, und 0.1 % der Benutzer teilen 80 % der vorhandenen Fake News."
Da sollte #nostr definitiv gut abhilfe schaffen.
@GrapheneOS this is a very well balanced article about the differences of different versions of Android operating systems. It shows very well where GrapheneOS shines and also, what exactly other OS's maby lack. But it gives a lot of nuance and opportunity for any user to decide for him or herself, if a threatlevel applies to them. Probably less than one percent of our population is fearing the threat of someone stealing their phone and hacking it physically (as many people use no pin or a very weak one).

Does someone have a good hint for me?
I am on the search for great opensource advertisment. So a Git repository or similar, with artwork, articles and projections to other parts of live to showcase the power of #opensource.
Since I would really love to become an activist for opensource. For years I always ask people I get to know, to chat via Signal and when I get the opportunity also explain the superiority of opensource.
And since here and then I meet well educated people, which are very suspecious towards opensource, since they do not understand how these developers get payed. And this is complicated.
But it makes me feel, that we need more public attention for the connection of #opensource and #freedom.
Two articles that still seem as relevant today as before 10 years.
@Edward Snowden revealed together with @US news | The Guardian how surveillance works.
Encryption is used everywhere today.
But still people rely mostly on closed source application like Whatsapp messenger, Google mail, X and many more popular apps to com unicate publicly and "seemingly private"
Would be greate, when we learn as society, that there are networkeffects and that always the weakest link will be exploited. Means me using @Signal or @npub18q57...rs6f makes sure I leak less data. But my social network (contact list) and other private Metadata can be revealed by friends, who do not care and use all the Meta products, Google products and more of theclosed source addvertisement surveillance.
Lets do the minimum and try to not be the weakest link. 😉🙌
Help friends and family to onboard privacy respecting services, which offer opensource clients and do not collect userdata.
Dezentralisation is always coming together with more work and basic knowledge in order to get it working.
This is just the concept of #freedom at work. Freedom was never and will never be for free. But the value of freedom is high enough to do those necessary extra work I would say.
Thanks for this great Article @AkamaisterView article →
