Teach them to aim early and often….particularly when young, as target practice is a metaphor for life. The perfect center of the target is the goal, infinitely unobtainable, but worthy of relentless pursuit. At the perfect center lies truth. Taking aim requires discipline and the need to follow a natural ruleset. Failure to exercise both carries immense risk to both self and others. A missed target requires critical self analysis and proper adjustment in order to achieve improvement. Failure to adjust guarantees similar missed goals. Focus, respiratory and heart rate control, awareness of environment and controlled movement during execution are all learned behaviors that carry immense ramifications in life. We need to learn to breathe, narrow our vision, appreciate our surroundings and control our movements (or reactions) though-out our journey…moving closer and closer to our goal with each attempt. Critics and skeptics will see a bb-gun in a child’s hands….I see a lifetime of life lessons packed into a backyard practice with Dad.

#Bitcoin maxis (myself included) cheering #crypto regulation now, but shouldn't be shocked when the regulators come for #btc . US onramps and offramps will soon be thru banks only, and the govt will attempt to paper dilute, centralize and limit what the common man can hold.

Spent 30 mins talking about $BTC last night to a table of 8 at a work dinner. Surprisingly, one guy at table was wholecoiner, but got spooked and sold after ftx because he didnt trust Coinbase. He knew NOTHING about cold storage…. Everyone else griped about inflation, their 401k and uncertainty, but threw fud grenade after grenade at $BTC. Did my best to plant the seeds but so much work to do.

Today, I had a friend of mine, a cardiac surgeon, tell me he doesn’t get #bitcoin because it sounds complicated….a cardiac surgeon who literally stops the ❤️to surgically repair it (circ arrest) and then brings it back to normal function once done. We’re still early

Coffee Thought: Nature aligns itself in hierarchies so its somewhat natural for the masses to defer to the state. It was during critical turning points in history, (the Enlightenment, the American Revolution) where the concept of the sovereign individual was born, flattening the established power structure…a time where individuals placed value on the “self” and a time where science, math, technology, art and culture flourished. #Bitcoin, #Nostr and the next wave of decentralized platforms have sparked another revolution of self. The first principles of both networks are a literal mind virus….awakening man from an entropic slumber….forcing him to heat the system and take back control of the self. We spend a lot of time thinking about a better, decentralized future with #Bitcoin as the backbone of a low time preference society.…one where art, science, tech and culture are improved by a different incentive structure. This road will be bumpy with unforeseen chaos at times. It also may move slower than what you expect. A simple reminder to enjoy the moments between now and then…TODAY is all that is guaranteed!

Be grateful today and take nothing for granted. Open your eyes to all that is good around you and let your light shine thru!!
