What blows my mind about Nostr is that when I post something, I get interactions almost immediately. On Twitter, despite having 9 times the followers, I have to usually wait five minutes and then they start coming in. Something is awry over there. I'm not saying they censor and monitor tweets, but they censor and monitor tweets.

I'm a bit of a renegade, and I bet you all out there are the same. I gambled for a living for a while. I started to study Austrian Economics when I was in HS, and now I'm an anarchist. Are you a renegade too? You must be. You're on Nostr already and you're into #Bitcoin. Just being a long term hodler makes you both a renegade and a revolutionary. So get out there, mine that fiat, and let's bring down the system.

I'm a gambler. That's how I got into #Bitcoin. I'm in the US and our draconian government made it very hard for me to make a living in both late 2006 and early 2011. In 2006 they passed the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. In 2011, they actually enforced it by shutting down Poker Stars and Full Tilt in the US. I was devastated. I didn't want to move to Vegas. Enter #Bitcoin. I learned about it in 2012. Soon after I used it to fund a bankroll for online poker again. But then I noticed it go up and up and up. So I invested. It was pretty early. So I must thank the US government for making me rich AF. I'm a middling poker player. But I've made way more on my Bitcoin investments than I have in poker. So fuck you government. I'm in charge now. 😂

It's not a question of IF conspiracies exists, the question is how many exist and what are their aims. To think that it's impossible for a group of people to conspire and find success is very foolish. There is no doubt that the governments around the world conspire to validate the existence of the state. In fact, they go through extreme measures to do this. So, there's one.

I wish Nostr had an algorithm to stop showing reposts after you've already seen a note. Right now @Jack is absolutely dominating my feed with one note about moving the bounty for a Nostr replacement for Github from 120 million to 1 billion sats. It's a great post, but I don't need my timeline to look like this (which it does):

People who trade #Bitcoin based off news events are fools. Long-term hodlers always swoop in and drink their milkshake. This isn't some hoky pokey stock that is fragile to the economic landscape. This is Bitcoin. It's coming to drink every asset's milkshake. The wise are those who realize that short term fluctuations are mere ripples on calm water.
