Just had to block someone on Twitter. Haven't had to do that yet on Nostr. It's amazing how much more positive interactions here are. You don't get these types of people here. ☝️

It's amazing how much cooler Twitter is than Facebook. But what's even more stark is how much cooler Nostr is than Twitter. I was skeptical back in December when I first got started. But once I got my Lightning wallet set up, it's been a zap fest ever since and that's what's cool about Nostr. I get real pleasure in rewarding great posts with a zap. And I'm humbled when someone thinks what I have to say is worthy of parting with some sats. Stay golden, Nostr!

Any of you swear by a paid relay? Does it make a difference. I'm not getting all my notifications, and it's starting to irritate me. Would a good, paid relay fix this?

My notifications are officially broken. I can see I'm getting more than I'm seeing on https://nostr.band/ , but I can't see them on Iris. When I go on Damus, I see some, but now all. Is this a relay issue? Hopefully I see your reply.

Right now I'm trying to think of a contest I can run where I give the winner 100K sats. Anyone out there have some ideas of what I could do? I could go in many directions. Humor? Serious content? Philanthropy? A combination of such. I could go in many directions.

I've given out about 3 sats per 1 sat I've received via zaps. It actually blows my mind that the ratio is as close as it is because I've been dishing out sats like a drunken sailor over here. To everyone who's zapped me, my sincerest thanks. I'll make sure to redistribute them well. 🤝

Nostr is going to pay out to two kinds of people. ⚡ 1. Really clever content creators. 2. Warm people who build their tribe out of honest and positive interactions. One person may post complex vids and write music. Another may just be a reply star and make people feel good with their honest positivity. But those who can do both will really prosper.
