#nostr family! Did you know that hibiscus flowers can be steeped in hot water to make a tea. Cooled, add lemon or lime juice, and watch the color of the tea transform into a bright, lovely pink. Add a little honey or simple syrup or lemonade and you have an amazing refreshing summer drink that has some medicinal properties. You can also dry the flower petals and save them for year-round use. I’m in my local Jewish deli picking up pastrami and hard salami for camping snack food. Guy walks in. Legit asks for 1/2 pound of ham. Meat guy: uh, no ham; it’s a Jewish deli. Guy: oh, a Jewish deli. No ham. Right. How are we going to get ahead in this world with our current level of attention to detail? 🤣🤣🤣
