Pomegranates have always been one of my favorite fruits, but during most of my life they were only available during a short time window in the winter and really expensive. But now, here in Greece, they are growing all around. The ripe trees look as if they had bright red Christmas balls hanging on them. It's so beautiful!
There's a technique to remove the juicy seeds easily from the fruit which I learned here. Cut the fruit in half horizontally, like along the equator, and then with a wooden spoon or a ladle hit the outside skin in different spots more or less gently. Then the seeds will fall out one by one. Saves so much time and you can enjoy spoonfulls of yumminess!

And it's possibly the place where he attained enlightenment, by slaying the snake-dragon Python, representing his inner and ancestoral demon. So, was Apollon representing a being who discovered his divineness by overcoming fear, trauma and suffering?
There's a deeper, very tangible meaning behind ancient myths and legends. Our modern, materialistic worldview has reduced mythology to stories of worship by a less developed version of humans who ask for protection from their travails of life. But in fact by interpreting them that way, we are only projecting our fears and emptiness on what we see.
We are currently in a process of human consciousness raising that allows us to see our past in a different, more unified light and feel gratitude for our ancestors lives and preserved wisdom. At the same time we need not be bound by the past, but realize that we are the creators of something entirely new.

- another a holy man preaching that during hard times only relentless violence can destroy evil,
- another a news report on how Bitcoin is mainly used by terrorists.
