I've been thinking about something @jack told me. In 2011, when the U.S. government pressured MasterCard, Visa, and PayPal to cut WikiLeaks off, Bitcoin stepped in. WikiLeaks accepted Bitcoin, and a small community of strangers proved that information can find its way to the public no matter who tries to stop it.
