Money is a ruler by which we measure what length of the economy belongs to whom. The fiat system allows some people to add centimeters (or inches for my imperial friends) to that ruler, without any changes in the real economy. As a result, even though you nominally have the same amount of centimeters as before, the ruler itself has more centimeters with which it measures the economy. This means that your centimeters don’t buy as much as it did before. #Bitcoin is a golden ruler that doesn’t allow for a single nanometer to be added to it. As the economy grows and the ruler stays the same, your centimeters buy more and more (since the entire economy has to fit the same ruler). If that doesn’t do the trick to make someone understand Bitcoin I don’t know what else will.

If #Bitcoin is decentralized, unbreakable money and #nostr is decentralized, unbreakable social media, what would be a decentralized, unbreakable government? #asknostr

If you’re always feeling tired and sickish, try the following for 20 days: 1- Reduce ultra-processed food as much as you can. Try to eat real food (if it comes in a package it’s not real food). Make 80% of your diet real food. 2- Exercise. Here’s what worked for me: Resisted workout twice a week and 30 min running on any day I don’t workout (at a 6 min/km pace). 3- Prioritize your sleep. 6 to 8 hours a day. Go to bed everyday at the same time (I do 10pm) and wake up everyday at the same time (6 am for me). 4- Drink a lot of water. Seriously, you are not drinking enough water. 5- Quit any type of self sexual gratification. 6- This is a bit personal. It worked wonders for me, but it’s not for everyone. Have some type of faith. To me it’s a very personal view on God and spirituality that I accumulated during my entire life. If you want to hear some ideas about consciousness and spirituality that are different from mainstream religion search for David Hawkings. I found it very enlightening. 7- If you can, reduce screen exposure and social media. 8- Expose yourself to the sunlight for at least 30 min a day. These made me feel like I have superpowers, even though after a while I realized it was basically just getting rid of my kryptonite.

Recently I found the motivation I needed for a crash course in internet anonymity. Here’s what I’ve learned so far (don’t use it for anything that it’s illegal in your country 😉): 1- Use TOR browser. Your ISP has no way of knowing what websites you visit nor what data you consume / produce. Plus, your route goes to different places, so it kind of acts like a VPN (remember, don’t use it to access anything that is illegal in your country). 2- Don’t authenticate with your phone (does anyone know about a web-based disposable phone number for authentication?). 3- This is obvious: don’t log in into any account on any website that could be traced back to you. Start new, fresh accounts. 4- To start a new fresh account on most websites you’ll need an email address. Use for a quick disposable email address (there are plenty other options) or Proton Mail if you want something more durable. 5- If you want to go next level anonymous, use Tail Linux booting from a pendrive. This OS doesn’t write to your local disk drive, and all data sent and received from the web goes through the TOR network. 6- @Obscura VPN is a VPN service that hides what you do on the internet even from themselves. Unfortunately still not available for usage, only for testers. Check out their discord server for more info. 7- If you want to go full tin foil hat on it, don’t use your own computer and ISP. Instead buy a cheap notebook, run Tail Linux on a pendrive and use public WiFis. If you know more about internet anonymity please share!! #anonymity #tinfoilhat #nostr #freespeech
