Caught up with some friends who work in cyber security. They're not Bitcoiners, but they have a good understanding of how the protocol functions. We had a long discussion about security, and how Bitcoin could be attacked from a purely technical perspective. One issue that took up a lot of discussion was the DNS seeds and hard-coded seed nodes, and whether those represented a vulnerability. We all went back and forth. I asked AI, and I thought the answer was quite reasonable.

The US is squandering a transformational opportunity leaving regulators to decide the fate of Bitcoin and the entire digital asset space. Regulators regulate, they are parochial and self interested, they do not transform. This extends to the dollar dominance discussion. The cadre of regulators seemingly entrusted with defending that dominance fundamentally misunderstand what dollar dominance was about. For them, it is about the ability to manipulate and weaponize the dollar. But where did dollar dominance come from? Economic strength and reliability. And precisely how do you kill that dominance? Through manipulation, weakness through debasement, and strangulation of economic opportunity.

I'm a DCA guy, very little demonstrated ability to read markets. But I stacked a few extra sats at $42.6k outside the DCA. Hell yeah I did. Hell yeah.

I'll tell y'all ...the grind is the grind. 2024 is going to be a great year, 2025 likely better. Maybe I feel the grind because I know what's coming at us this year. ETF is great, adoption is amazing. and we have to enjoy these moments. But there's more to come, the beast isnt going to roll over that quickly. Stay frosty, friends.
