Organized #bitcoinpizzaday at the same place I joined the Dutch #noderunners community 3 years ago. Great success! View quoted note →

GM/GN. Happy easter bunny! 🐰

GE, started the carnivore diet 30 day challenge yesterday. Never did a diet before, so wish me luck.

GA, back in Asuncion 🇵🇾 The busses in Latin America are quite comfortable. The “NSA” bus costs about 15000 sats and feels like Premium Economy seats which recline to almost flatbed seats.

GA, as you can see Paraguay sits well with me 😁

GM, walked to the other end of Table Mountain this morning 😎 PoW

Going all in nostr

Guess where I am #ZapTime #BTClock

Anyone successfully implemented Nsec Bunker remote signers with NDK in TypeScript? 👀 I do see a ndk nip46signer but looking at the code I don’t see how I could implement the nostrconnect:// string flow. The bunker:// flow I got working. Stuck for 3 hours already…

I will be at @Adopting Bitcoin Cape Town in January giving a #btclock workshop! I will tell a bit about the project and then you can build your own BTClock yourself for 150 euro in sats. For the workshop I created a special edition backplate with the conference logo and date on the back 😎 Limited seats available (±10 left at this moment), if you want to attend make sure you pre-order the kit at https://btclock.store/product/btclock-workshop-set-adopting-bitcoin-cape-town/ (note that you need a conference ticket as well!)

Happy holidays 🧡

Tick, tock, milk, defy, bacon, bacon bacon, bacon, bacon, bacon, bacon, bacon… it’s a @npub17tyk...3mgl style #BTClock

Spent way too many hours on implementing NIP-17/44/59 messaging for RESIN. @npub1zwne...tult If you want to help us test it, please use your NIP-17 capable Nostr client and send a gift wrapped DM to @npub1vjjf...e5t4

Pretty much against Black Friday since it encourages spending money on things you often don't really need, but it happens to be my birthday today too... So 5 euro discount on all #BTClock orders today with coupon code BDAY24. The complete DIY kit is in backorder, but I expect new stock to arrive around December 15th. https://btclock.store/product/btclock-complete-kit/

Took quite some effort but all the #BTClock repo's are completely independent from GitHub now at https://git.btclock.dev/. Thanks to #forgejo ( @Forgejo ?) I even got the CI/CD working, see the latest run at

BTClock

btclock_v3

Firmware for BTClock which uses WebSockets to fetch data.

The web-flasher moved to

BTClock Web Tools

Easily allow users to flash new firmware for the BTClock.

(but I encourage you to compile your own firmware) A big disadvantage is the barrier to do pull requests now though, but hopefully I can integrate GitHub OAuth for authentication...

Some #BTClock repo mirrors: https://git.rof.tools/mirrors/btclock_v3 https://git.rof.tools/mirrors/btclock-webui https://git.rof.tools/mirrors/btclock_v2 The firmware binaries depended on GitHub Actions workflows so they are not yet on there, but of course you can compile everything yourself

Going Dutch with zaps, the #BTClock can take it 😎 View quoted note →

It has been a long time since I had a good dinner and a drink in a restaurant for only $10 (let alone pay it in #bitcoin), in Berlin, El Salvador you can 🧡 in the Netherlands I probably cant even cook it myself for that price 😅

I got (bamboo) wood! #BTClock
