If you’re the visionary type, you’ll relate to this: Your survival brain is slowing killing you. I learned this while scaling BMC from a one-man shop making $5k/month… To now +7 figures a year and a team of +30. The breakthrough? I finally stopped running from the lion. Let me explain… Early entrepreneurship triggers our ancestral wiring: 🏃🏽 Constant need to stay "productive" 🏃🏽 Can't stop moving, building, doing 🏃🏽 Addicted to operational tasks because "we're good at them" 🏃🏽 Action at all costs to keep the lights on It’s 24/7 survival mode. But here's the paradox: The very instincts that kept you alive in year one will kill your growth down the road. The real leap happens when you give yourself permission to think. As a visionary, the most humble thing you can do is admit you can't do it all. You need to: ✅ Build teams that execute ✅ Create space for strategic thinking ✅ Release operations (while staying connected) The fierce survival brain that kept you alive years 1-3 in business isn’t the mindset that will take you to millions in revenue… Stop running from the Lion. The secret isn't working harder. It's giving yourself permission to stop and think. Your next level of growth isn't in more doing. It's in better thinking. image

I spent another 100,000 sats on a zap-vertising experiment… And I think I proved that advertising on Nostr actually works… Here’s: 1️⃣ What I did 2️⃣ The results 3️⃣ What I learned 1️⃣ What I did: I sent 4105 zaps over the course of 3 days for a total of 112,000 sats. Each zap contained a link for a blog post: zapvertising-experiment.carrd.co My goal was to see if I could get a reasonable cost per click (CPC)… 2️⃣ The results: During the campaign I had a total of 71 unique visitors to the page. CPC was 1578 sats or $1.50 usd. I also gained 245 followers from that campaign. These CPCs are in line with other ad platforms which validates the overall concept for me. 3️⃣ What I learned / brain dump: - Results were better than expected. - I thought there might have been a bit of negative push back (however none received). - There is a chance I am significantly underreporting and google analytics isn't picking everything up (surprised to see 3-4x the number of new followers vs. clicks 🤔) - THERE IS SOMETHING HERE. I still don’t know exactly what the model looks like, how it scales, but there is something to be uncovered. - Right now, this can’t be done at scale… in the future it could. I spent ~$100 and it took me multiple days. In the future there will be ways to allocate +$10,000 per day here. For context of where we are at right now, Nostr daily zap totals are around 750,000 sats - about $675 - see stats.nostr.band/ for that data) - Something feels off with the format… simply paying someone and sending them a link… The p2p model feels right, but the format feels off. More to come 🫡 Let me know your thoughts 👇 image

As a creator, I thought I always needed to have the right answers to be successful… To be the person posting from an expert frame… But I’m finding that it’s just as powerful to be the creator that asks the right questions.

Imagine 🤔💭 The year is 2030. There are millions of Nostr users. The ecosystem is thriving. BTC is at $5M. There are thousands of “full time Nostr creators” earning +10,000,000 sats a month. What are these creators doing? What are they selling? What’s the business model? This is what keeps me up at night. 🤔👇🏽

First time founders are obsessed with product. Second time founders are obsessed with distribution. One of the keys to building BMC in fiat world has been an extreme focus on distribution. Email list, affiliates, YouTube channel… What does “building distribution” on nostr look like? Is it simply gaining followers? Do you think theres more to gaining distribution on nostr? Curious 🤔

Thoughts on why I might not see certain responses on @primal but I do on @Damus ? Just started exploring multiple clients to see the different UX. Example: I only see this reply on Damus but not primal image
