I am increasingly worried for the boomer generation. Those who have spent their whole working careers gathering a fiat based retirement still believing all will be cozy for the remainder of their years. Boomers without #Bitcoin  specifically. Members of my family, included. The rapid debasement of our political currencies is so alarming, most haven’t fully grasped what is in store. What are people going to do when they need cancer treatments, assisted living facilities, expensive daily medicines? It already costs a few hundred a month in prescriptions for the average “unhealthy” elderly American. Assisted living facilities charge upwards of 10k a month and Medicare sometimes won’t cover a 7 thousand dollar cancer imaging service. (My grandparent’s current medical expenses). Taking a recent retiree, with 1-3 million USD in total retirement value. Subtract the 18% loss of purchasing power in USD since 2020 source 👇 and compound this debasement annually as governments have to exponentially print to keep a debt/credit monetary structure breathing … the math = your FK’d, without #btc  ! AND THIS IS THE BEST government currency available! USD is the cleanest of all the dirty clothes in the laundry basket. These problems are going to get worse, faster, and with more gravitational pull towards defeat. It’s our responsibility as #bitcoin  HODLrs to see the future and prepare to take care of your family and friends. I try so hard to encourage BTC education in my immediate family and circle of friends for this reason alone. Also, please everyone, take care of your health and mind. Eat a ton of meat, fruit, honey. Drop anything in a box or that does not grow itself. If you can’t pronounce a food label ingredient - don’t EAT IT. Food shouldn’t need a label first of all! Don’t shop for food in the aisles, shop along the outer edges of grocery stores! Before my Bitcoin and professional career as a firefighter, I was a classically trained chef.
