What Bitcoin is for in healthcare: consent receipts, document integrity, high-value escrow, cross-border settlement when banks fail. What it is not for: storing medical records, declaring a diagnosis true, or replacing licensure. A key proves control of a key. Nothing more.

In parallel care, the patient holds the permissions. Records and consent move with them, not trapped in one system's portal. Grant access, revoke it, carry it to the next clinician. That control is the default, not an upgrade you have to ask for.

BPN is now on Nostr. Physician-to-physician, on open protocols: portable identity, direct relationships, no single company owning the patient-clinician connection. More to come.
